If you are ordering screws to fix handles or knobs to a cabinet door or drawerfront you should order screws that are roughly 5mm longer than the thickness of the door/drawerfront they are being attached to. The screws screw in from the back of the door/drawerfront through into the screw holes at the back of the handle/knob on the front of the door/drawerfront.
