Blum Tandembox - 500 mm Door, 2 Bins - Integrated Pull Out Kitchen Cupboard Bin

The Blum Tandembox ECO top is an integrated pull-out waste bin system designed for 500mm wide kitchen base cabinets. It fits behind a hinged cabinet door and uses the full footprint of the cabinet, providing a combined capacity of 68.2 litres across three internal bins — two 32-litre bins and one 4.2-litre bin — all housed within a single pull-out frame in an orion grey matt finish.

Blum is a specialist in motion and storage systems for kitchens, and the Tandembox range reflects their focus on mechanical reliability and practical engineering. The ECO top design pairs a Ninka-framed, pre-assembled unit with Blum's own BLUMOTION 30kg soft-close runners, which bring the bin system back to a controlled, silent close. A stability bracket reinforces the frame when the bins are full, and the wide front fixing points accommodate shaker-style cabinet doors as well as standard flat doors. Bin handles are made from reinforced glass fibre to reduce the risk of breakage under repeated use. An odour trap shelf spans the full width of the frame, sitting above the bins to contain smells inside the cabinet — it also provides a useful shelf for spare bin bags.

Installation is by screw fixing. The runners attach to the cabinet sides, the pre-assembled frame seats onto them, and the bins drop in. Blum supply a full set of fixings, front fixing brackets, cover caps, and instructions in the box.
