Can I just replace the doors on my kitchen cabinets?

Yes! As long as your cabinet carcasses (the internal boxes) are structurally sound, you can replace just the doors, drawer fronts, panels, plinths and cornice/pelmets. This is a cost-effective way to achieve a "new kitchen" look at a fraction of the price of a full renovation.

Are kitchen cabinet doors a standard size?

Most modern kitchens use standard UK sizes (such as 600mm or 500mm widths), but many older or bespoke kitchens do not. Your kitchen might also have some custom sizes to fit anyt no standard spaces. We offer a Made to Measure service on most of our styles to ensure a perfect fit, regardless of where your original kitchen was purchased, or if you need any custom sizes.

How do I measure for replacement cabinet doors?

Always measure the back of your existing doors in millimetres (mm) for the most accurate results. Measure the height first, then the width. If you are replacing a door for a unit that currently has no door, measure the cabinet opening and subtract 3mm-4mm from both the height and width to allow for a clearance gap.

What is the most durable finish for kitchen doors?

For busy family households, Slab or Smooth Matt finishes are highly durable and easy to wipe clean. If you want total control over durability and color, our primed kitchen cabinet doors allow you to apply high-quality specialist kitchen paints that can be easily touched up over time.

Do new doors come with pre-drilled hinge holes?

Our doors do not come pre-drilled as standard, as hinge positions can vary between different cabinet manufacturers. However, we offer an optional drilling service where you can specify your exact hinge hole positions to make DIY installation quick and easy.

Can your doors be used with B&Q, Howdens, Magnet or IKEA cabinets?

Absolutely. Our standard stocked doors fit B&Q, Howdens and Magent cabinets - as we ll as our own range of cabinets. For IKEA cabinets you will need to order made to measure doors.
