We don’t fit kitchens — and that works in your favour. Choose your own fitter and they answer to you, not a retailer. In our experience, many of the best fitters are independent craftspeople.
- Your fitter answers to you — no retailer in the middle.
- Our plan travels — hand the costed plan and 2D drawings to any qualified fitter.
- Use someone you trust — or find one through a recognised directory.
Finding a trusted fitter
No fitter yet? Look for a recognised, independent body where installers are vetted and reviewed — for example BIFIS or Checkatrade. There are several others to choose from too.
Any fitter you appoint is independent of Kitchenfair. We don’t employ, supervise or warrant their work — please check their credentials, insurance and reviews before you engage them.

Yes. Your £50 design fee is credited in full against any order of £1,000 or more. If you go ahead, the design effectively costs you nothing.
No — and that’s the point. We design from the rough plan and measurements you send, so there are no appointments and no pressure. We’ll guide you on exactly what to measure.
A rough sketch of the room, your wall lengths and ceiling height, and the positions of windows, doors and services like the sink waste, gas and sockets. A clear phone photo of a hand drawing is fine.
3D rendered views, 2D plans to the millimetre, and a full itemised, costed plan a fitter can work straight from — covering units, doors, worktops, handles, storage, sinks, taps and bins.
Absolutely. Choosing finishes is part of the process. With hundreds of door styles and every colour, your designer helps you land on a look you love before anything is finalised.
Yes. Book the £50 design service and we include a free sample door (normally £10) and up to 5 colour samples, free — so you can see and feel the finishes in your own light. Order them before or after your design.
We don’t — and choosing your own fitter works in your favour, because they answer to you rather than a retailer. Hand our fitter-ready plan to any qualified fitter, or find a vetted one through a directory such as TrustMark or Checkatrade. Any fitter you appoint is independent of Kitchenfair.
