Returns & Cancellations
With the exception of personalised items, you may cancel/return your order up to 14 days after delivery in accordance with Distance Selling Regulations. Personalised items includes doors with hinge holes pre drilled to your requirements, custom made to order / made to measure doors and paint to order doors. Personalised items would not fall under the Regulations as they have been customised to your individual needs cannot be restocked and resold. Quick guide to cabinet door hinge holes

What are hinge holes?
The large 35mm wide holes found in cabinet doors. They require a specialist drill which is why customers ask us to drill the holes.

What measurements do we need?
Simply the distance in mm from the top and bottom edge of the door to the centre of the hinge hole. This is typically between 80mm and 130mm. A standard (or default) measurement is 100mm.

What is the Hinge Side?
The hinge side is the side of the door the hinges are on (left or right) as you face the unit. Bridging units, where the door is wider than tall can also be hung from the top.

What about additional hinge holes?
For very tall doors you may also need a third hinge hole drilled in the middle. This should be the distance from the top edge of the door to the center of the middle hinge hole.

What is the J Handle Side?
For J Pull Doors the J Handle can be placed at the top (typically base units), the bottom (wall units) or side (tall vertical larder doors). Its important to specify this when including hinge holes alongside your hinge side.
