Choosing the Right Corner Cabinet Storage Solutions
Maximising every inch of your kitchen is essential, but corner units are notoriously difficult to reach. At Kitchen Fair, we provide high-quality hardware designed to turn these "dead zones" into the most functional parts of your kitchen. To find the right fit, you first need to identify whether you have an L-Shaped Corner Cabinet or a Blind Corner Cabinet.
Storage for L-Shaped Corner Cabinets
An L-shaped cabinet (also known as a 90-degree corner) features two doors that open to reveal a wide, right-angled interior. Because the opening is quite large, these units are best suited for rotating systems that bring the contents to you. Kitchen Carousels & Lazy Susans are the most popular choice for L-shaped units. By rotating the shelves around a central pole, you can access items at the very back of the cupboard with ease. They come in 2 types/sizes
Three-Quarter Circle (270°): These carousels feature a "cut-out" slice to allow the cabinet doors to close neatly. They offer the maximum surface area for heavy pots, pans, and small appliances.
Half-Circle Carousels (180°): Ideal for smaller L-shaped units or specific cabinet configurations, these pivot outwards to provide instant access to your essentials.

Storage for Blind Corner Cabinets
A blind corner cabinet is a unit where only one door is visible from the front; the rest of the cabinet extends back into the corner behind an adjacent cupboard. Because a large portion of the shelf is "hidden," these require clever mechanical pull-out corner storage to make the space usable.
We offer four primary types of storage for blind corners:
Swing Out Baskets: Often referred to as "Magic Corners," these use a jointed mechanism. When you pull the cabinet door, the front baskets swing to the side, automatically pulling the rear baskets forward into the opening.
Pull Out Baskets: These consist of a series of rectangular wire or solid-base baskets on a telescopic sliding track. After opening the cabient door you pull the storage baskets toward you in 1 to 3 movements to bring the entire contents of the "blind" space fully outside the cabinet.
Swing Out Shelves: These shelves pivot out of the cabinet independently. They are a great middle-ground for those who want smooth, accessible storage without a complex multi-basket mechanism.
Le Mans Pull Out Shelves: Named after the famous race track due to their unique curved shape, Le Mans shelves are the gold standard of corner storage. Each shelf glides out of the cabinet independently with a smooth, fluid motion, allowing you to utilise the entire depth of the cupboard for heavy cookware.
